It is my pleasure to serve in the role of Monterey High School Athletic Director. My philosophy about athletics is to keep our program student-centered and provide as many opportunities for our student-athletes to grow in areas of citizenship, relationship, effort, and excellence. Being a multi-sport athlete, former collegiate athlete and having coached over 20 years, I understand how participating in athletics helps to prepare students to face challenges in life. Sports is a transformative platform for the greatest opportunity in personal growth. Sports activities increase confidence, endurance, self-awareness, relationships, responsibility, and teamwork. As a 2001’ Iron woman alumnus, I am blessed to have this opportunity and I look forward to another successful year and supporting my Green Machine family.
